Through my life in a "doggy" family I have owned and bred several breeds. My first champions were dalmatians, bought from R. and Ø. Bjørnli, kennel Liberline, in the early 80`s. From these dogs I bred two Highroad champions. My prefix Highroad was registrated in 1981, and was ment for dalmatians who followed travellers on horses or in carriages. I also bred a few litters of pugs in the 80's, and a couple of them became champions. In 1984 I started my papillon breeding, and 10 of them became champions. I am proud to tell that one of my papillon breeding, Highroad Huckleberry, owned by Ulla Hanis, Siljans kennel, got the CC under Ellis Hulme in Richmond, England in 1997. Huckleberry was also shown at Crufts the same year. Most of my life bullterriers have been very close to my heart. I have owned two of these personalities, both of them from Kari Aamodt, kennel Keynote. They both became champions, and my first became nearly 15 years old. My second one is sitting next to me now, she is only 5 years. I have not bred bull terriers though. In 1990 I bought my first cavaliers, and since then this wonderful dog has been a part of my life. Between 2002 and 2006 I didn`t breed or show due to job situation, but now my life and house is filled with these joyful companions. And last, but not least, I now share them with my wonderful man Ivar, who really has learned how to own and love cavaliers. | ||
